Veneer Hot Pressing

Veneer hot pressing is a critical process in wood product manufacturing, ensuring strong bonding, smooth surface finishing, and long-term durability. IWG offers a range of high-performance adhesives specifically formulated for hot pressing applications, delivering excellent heat, moisture, and solvent resistance for various wood species and engineered panels.

Solution

PG83

Designed for hot press and membrane press applications, PG83 meets D3 standard and offers high bonding strength, fast heat curing, and long assembly times. Ideal for veneering wood panels as well as aluminum honeycomb composites.


1062-6

Toluene-free, high solid content adhesive suitable for hot or cold press continuous lines, particularly for PVC film lamination. Provides strong initial and final bonding strength while being environmentally friendly.


UF / PVAc Adhesives (Powder UF + PG50)

One-component powder UF combined with formaldehyde solution (mixing ratio: 621 powder UF : water : PG50 = 100:50:20). Meets D4 standard, with low EO emission, long pot life, excellent bonding strength, and easy handling. Suitable for veneering a variety of wood species by hot press.
